Dr Quonita Talip

 

Dr Quonita Talip was born and raised in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town. She started her practice at Mediclinic Cape Gate as an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in October 2012.

Dr Talip obtained her Medical qualification (MBChB) at the University of Cape Town and her post graduate FCOG at the College of Medicine South Africa and MMed at the University of Stellenbosch.

After completing her internship and community service years, Dr Talip worked in the United Kingdom in Accident and Emergency and Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She returned to South Africa in 2003 and work for nine years at Tygerberg Hospital in the department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, first as a medical officer, then registrar and then consultant in the department.

 Dr Talip is happily married and has 2 sons, who according to their mother - are too cute for words. She is fully aware of the modern day challenges of working Mums. Finding the right balance in life is what it’s about and giving our all to take care of our family and patients and loved ones. She is a dedicated gynaecologist who does her utmost for the well being of her patients,friends and family. Someone who truly enjoys her work and goes that extra mile for everyone.
